In 2020 Mike Mann dropped about 50,000 domains from his 350,000 (about 14%) and now has 300,000 domains in his portfolio.

Mike Mann wrote an EPIC comment on my post about him dropping 50,000 domains. The comment covers several different subjects including buying and selling domain names.

To get some context you should first read these 3 posts before reading Mike Mann’s comment.

More info

Mike Mann is the owner of DomainMarket.com that offers more than 350,000 300,000 premium domain names for sale. Mike sells more domains as he is only reporting what he wants to report. Yes, his overall sales average is below $5,000 so the reported average means that there were quite a few not reported sales for less than $5,000.

I hope there is not someone that thinks that these are all the domains that Mike sold this month. These are just the domains that he chose to report. Also he is purchasing hundreds of domains each month yet he reports only 1 or 2 or not at all. If people were selling only what they were reporting then I wouldn’t have any sales this year!

(One thing to remember is that Mike Mann needs to sell about $2.5+ million worth of domains per year to break even and that he is NOT a flipper. The average holding time for his sold domains is usually more than 5 years.)

There are on fake sales from Mike.
      I am not his friend.
Yes, you are probably an idiot with no domain sales.

  2. Okay listen to this Mike Mann sells RivaClub.com for $294,888
That is the kind of domain that the new Sherpa show Andrew Rosener would say is only worth 1200 dollars.

  3. RivaClub.com for $294.8k? What kind of BS is that?
I’ve kind of abandoned your blog for a good few years now, KZ, so for me to not only take an occasional look lately and even actually want to reply says a lot, make no mistake. A lot about a price like that for a domain like that and the mountain-size question marks it raises.
Since gambling is not intrinsically sin, I’d bet a great big pile of money there’s some major league BS of some kind going on there, even if the $ actually did technically change hands with any transfer of the domain.

  4. Okay, it’s actually possible – this time. Bet withdrawn.
    Here’s why:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=riva+club
But in general, years and years of an endless garbage stream with scarcely ever a report not being super questionable.

    • Konstantinos Zournas

      LOL!!!
You talk BS and THEN you do a google search?
What is wrong with you people?

      • My first time back here. You have no recognition of integrity, and willingness to admit to not being infallible. Unlike some of you egomaniacs in the industry. Most people would have just doubled down instead of doing what I did, but that’s lost on you. Normally that would be a garbage domain for any domain investor involved in sales, and “years and years of an endless garbage stream with scarcely ever a report not being super questionable” with your posts of Mann’s sales still holds. Also, it’s not just “a google search.” It’s a google search that shows enough for someone with any integrity to admit that a good price like that is really possible after all. Plus I combine the pursuit and mental and spiritual honesty with independently certified brilliance since Mensa said I had a 99.9% IQ, the kind you rarely hear about. When you combine God-given attributes with mental and spiritual honesty, it’s a good combination. I could done the research first, but I did it after and have been honest and done the right thing here – regarding that domain. So no, your own reply is overboard too and fails. 😉

      • Konstantinos Zournas

        Mike’s sales are legit.
Spare me all this endless writing…
If you have something to say, say it with proof.

  5. Hi, Domaining is already dead?
Why there’s no bids on $1 Dynadot auctions for
    Cheapest.Homes – new gtld

Anaesthetised.com – Medical dental dictionary one word domain

    • Konstantinos Zournas

      These are worthless.

Cheap.homes: maybe depending on the renewal.
      Cheapest.homes: NO

Anaesthetised is a rarely used adjective with 4 different spellings!
