Auctions For .BUY, .TECH and .VIP Contentions Are Held Next Week

newgtldICANN, through its auction service provider, Power Auctions LLC, will facilitate an Auction on 17 September 2014 to resolve string contention sets for three (3) new generic Top-level Domain (gTLD) strings, BUY, TECH, and VIP.

Twelve (12) applicants are expected to participate in the Auction for their respective applied-for strings. Within seven (7) days after the completion of the Auction, the results, including a results report, will be posted to the Auction Results page of the New gTLD Microsite.

The Auction Schedule [PDF, 250 KB] is updated as of 11 September 2014 to reflect eligible contention sets and accomoodated postponement requests. For additional information regarding Auctions, please view the Auctions landing page.
