NamesCon 2019 day 3: Best sessions on Tuesday

NamesCon 2019

The NamesCon 2019 live domain name auction was held yesterday in Las Vegas. The total sales were $2,237,000.

OL.com sold for $900k, DomainNames.com sold for $370k and leads.com sold for $435k.

Here are the complete results of the live NamesCon domain name auction.

Here is what caught my eye from the Tuesday’s sessions and events from the NamesCon agenda:

  • The Future of the Mobile Web: AMP & PWA (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Lisa Box, Vice President of Strategic Alliances at WP Engine
  • .com Price Increase, presented by ICA (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Let’s see what more ICA has to say about the .com price increase.
  • Turning Chaos into Growth: Successful Domaining in a Post-American World (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
Some very interesting people talk domaining…
  • Closing Reception: Las Vegas Confidential (open to all attendees) (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
BTW I don’t want to spoil this session (Making sense of $500k for an nTLD) but they can’t make sense of it…

This will be the last year the event is held in Las Vegas. Next year NamesCon Global moves to Austin, Texas.

  1. Any particular reason for the move to Austin, besides I guess getting a less expensive venue?
