Domain name people: Joe Styler of GoDaddy

Joe Styler serves as product manager for the aftermarket at GoDaddy. He is responsible for marketplace products including any purchase, sale, or monetization of a domain name.

Joe received his B.A. from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and his Masters in Divinity from Gordon Conwell in Massachusetts.

During his nine-year tenure at GoDaddy Joe has served in a variety of directorial and supervisory roles.

Joe Styler is also running a website selling theater, concert and sports tickets at TheaterTickets.com.

I personally know Joe since 2015 as we have met in different conferences both in the US and in Europe. I can say that he is one of the most hard working people at GoDaddy, always there to help you whether it is some small billing issue or a serious domain name theft. He is also very active on NamePros.com replying to several issues that have to do with Godaddy..

Here is a very interesting video featuring Joe Styler that was released last month from NamePros.com. In the beginning Joe explains how he got into GoDaddy almost 10 years ago, how he started working at GoDaddy support and how he came to be doing what he does today.

      • No idea. I have no problem saying no if I’m not interested. I’m not even sure how to report something as spam. I get a lot of PMs there. I don’t remember ever seeing one from you about this.

  8. I’ve always assumed that Godaddy is a great place to work because the people you speak to always sound positive and happy and you can read that from people – even over the phone. I’ve mentioned it before to support people who have helping me, and I have said, man, Godaddy must be a great place to work. Not surprised a few weeks turned into 10 years.

    How can Go-daddy or anyone else, support advocating The S.E.M. Platform, knowing the following? ( Here are 2 theoretical Questions ?

    1 How much traffic would you lose using Google based SEM online Marketing Strategy ?
    2 How much traffic would you lose using NON-.COM extensions ?

    Our answer to 1 = (25 to 40% Traffic loss) our answer to 2 = (50 to 60% Traffic loss) NOW here is the Big Question ? Why would a savvy Online Marketing Strategist use either one of these strategies??
