Dynadot Gets More Registrars And Offers .COM Backorders For $7.85 In July

Dynadot announced that it is running a drop catch sale for the month of July. They recently increased their registry connections and updated the technology behind our Dynadot drop catcher. I am not sure with the opened more registrars or they are using other registrars as drop catching partners.

The drop catch sale prices are:

$7.85 .COM
$7.85 .NET
$8.25 .ORG

In the case of a drop catch domain having more than one request, Dynadot will hold a 3-day private auction for the domain.

Here is complete announcement:

Happy July! We’re excited to announce that our drop catch sale starts today and will run through the whole month!* We recently increased our registry connections and updated the technology behind our Dynadot drop catcher. Try our new and improved system for yourself and save!

$7.85 .COM
$7.85 .NET
$8.25 .ORG

Our domain backorder/drop catching system allows you to place a request for a domain that is about to expire. Normally, domains are released from the central registry 75 days after the expiration date. Our drop catching system allows us to try and grab the domain for you as soon as it becomes available for registration again. There are always lots of great domains about to expire, so check out our drop catch sale on our backorders page today!

What To Know Before You Order

In order to place a backorder, you need an order history with at least one successful payment in the last 365 days. If this is not the case for your account, all you need to do is simply add some account credit that can be used towards future orders by completing a prepay order.

If we catch the domain you backordered and you were the only one who requested it, our system will create an order for you. In the case of a drop catch domain having more than one request, we will hold a 3-day private auction for the domain. Please be aware that although we make every effort to grab the domain for you, there is no guarantee we will get it. You will not be charged unless we catch the domain.

*Our drop catch sale officially ends 7/31/14 23:59 PDT.

  1. I love Dynadot and the people behind it but damn if their site is not full of bugs and has the worst navigation layout of about any site I have ever seen on the Internet.

Thanks for the post, Konstantinos . You sure came out of nowhere with your blog and now I consider it as one of the best around. Keep it up. 🙂
