New gTLD Domain Sales: 4 sold for $12,500+, 8 for $3,000+ and 32 for $1,200+ (marriage.solutions, porn.email)

This past week the following 5 Donuts New gTLDs entered general availability with EAP: .email, .solutions, .training, .support and .builders.

The total Donuts EAP purchases from just the first 3 EAP days is at about $112,500 or more depending on the premium domain names.

Some of the sales are difficult to find as a few domains don’t have nameserves and don’t appear in the zone files. Only sales over $1,000 are reported.

There were 4 domain names sold on the 1st day of the EAP for about $12,500 each or more depending on the registration/renewal prices (premium level or no premium). These are the domain names:

marriage.solutions (daveramsey.com)
ramsey.solutions (daveramsey.com)
because.solutions (privacy whois)
pec.email

The first 3 domains were registered at Go Daddy while pec.email was registered at Enom.

There were 8 domain names sold on the 2nd day of the EAP for about $3,000 each or more depending on the registration/renewal prices (premium level or no premium):

hawaii.email (DnFactor.com LLC)
porn.email (parked at Sedo)
website.builders
orton-gillingham.training (Institute for Multi-Sensory Education)
people.training (burchardgroup.com)
cause.solutions (privacy whois)
delta.solutions (privacy whois)
ebet.solutions (onlineservice365)

Congrats Mark on getting site.builders cheap!

There were also 32 domain names bought at about $1200 each in the third day of EAP.

SMTP.com bought 4 domains such as smtpserver.solutions and email.solutions.

WebQuest.com bought realestate.training.

Campaignmonitor.com bought the domains campaignmonitor.email and createsend.email.

Dolmint, LLC bought the domains heaven.email and hell.email.

DomainPals.com bought personalized.email.

Fitch Learning from London bought learning.solutions and fitch.solutions.

I also checked all the corresponding domain names in .com and found 11 domains that were sitting unregistered today:
becausesolutions.com
orton-gillinghamtraining.com
campaignmonitoremail.com
staffordemail.com
hellemail.com
sniemail.com
softballemail.com
vivalasvegasemail.com
riministreetsupport.com
emaildeliverabilitysolutions.com
smtpserversolutions.com

Very few of the registered .com domains are owned by domainers such as peopletraining.com that is owned by Marchex. In the previous weeks many of the domains were owned by domainers. I think that the quality of the domains this week is pretty bad. I don’t really “get” .email.

Some of the purchases above might be higher that reported if the domain name is labeled as premium. Premium registration/renewals start at $50 and go all the up to $1500 per year. Prices are approximate and depend on what each registrar charges on top of the registry fee.

You can register a domain name using the Donuts EAP that is available in registrars that sell Donuts gTLDs. EAP prices start at about $12,500 and are lowered within the course of the week until they reach the regular registration cost after the 7 day period. The EAP wholesale registrar prices are:
$10,000 (day1)
$2,500 (day2)
$950 (day3)
$500 (day4)
$100 (days 5-7)

Go Daddy’s early access prices are at about $12,539.99 for day one, $3,164.99 for day two, $1,239.99 for day three, $689.99 for day four and $189.99 for days five to seven. After day seven the regular registration cost applies.

  1. I don’t get when people do this. Nobody was going to register Ramsey.Solutions in the first 5 days, yet someone drops $12k on it nonetheless. Ironically the site DaveRamsey.com is about business and money… don’t think I’ll be following any of his advice.

  2. And the winners are. Ding Ding Ding. email.com, solutions.com, training.com.
You have to have a great product behind email for it to work. Hope it is good.
I am just not into buying 15 year options. LOL

  3. My preference was for .Training in this last group. Picked up marriage.training, father.training, mother.training, baby.training, skating.training, gymnastics.training, acting.training, advertising.training & legal.training on either last day landrush or first day general with some

  4. I had quite a few on my radar but they got picked up for either more than I was willing to pay or before I could grab them or others got better pre-reg’s than I did. I liked that website.builders, I had to go for the next best site.builders but I got it for a good deal. I also was a little bummed to lose out on ecommerce.solutions, green.solutions, green.builders and a few others, but I did get a few pretty good ones if you like these things…

  5. Here are some that i managed to pick up,but lost about 30 of them

    a2z.solutions
    general.solutions
    counseling.solutions
    btob.solutions
    dui.solutions
    digi.solutions
    ecom.solutions
    superior.solutions

  6. i disagree with you, mother.training ? please…

  7. Hi
