.EU raises prices first time since 2006

.EU

As a not-for-profit organisation and per its contract with the European Commission, EURid, the .eu registry, sets its fees in direct relation to costs incurred.

As announced during the registrar annual meeting on 17 November 2022, .EU is raising prices as of 1 January 2023 to reflect growing operating costs. This is the first increase since the launch of .eu in 2006.

The 0.25 EUR price increase will affect registration, renewal, transfer and activation fees for .eu, .ею and .ευ domain names, which represents approximately a 6,25% increase.

Current fees are €4 per first year of registration term and €3.75 per year of domain name renewal.
