.Club partnered with Domain.com to offer all the TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon in San Francisco 2016 participants a free .CLUB domain and hosting from Domain.com. They also offered a $5,000 cash prize for the best use of a .CLUB name for a project.

This past weekend over 40 hackathon projects used a .CLUB domain, including 24 projects that were Hackathon prize winners.

The winner of the .CLUB $5,000 grand prize went to TheHighFlyers.club for their very clever and useful in-air app to let you chat with fellow travelers and spot landmarks and other useful information while you are in the air.

You can read about TheHighFlyers.Club on TechCrunch and watch their presentation (video).

  1. Dang, I missed out on some nice free swag gifts from .Club. I’ll have to add this event to my calendar next year. Looks like it was a blast!
