Liao.com sells for $100,000, xiao.com for $67,566 and daum.com for $50,000 at Namejet

FindYourDomain.com has been putting a lot of the domain names in its inventory up for sale at Namejet.

Liao.com just sold for $100,000 that was the auction reserve. The winning bidder took the auction price from $20k and made bids until the reserve was met. Liao means “chat” in Chinese. Liao.com was sold on another Namejet auction back in November 2012 for  $118,888 but I guess the buyer never paid. Sometimes this happens… A few days back 3Dvideo.com sells at Namejet for $6,050 after being sold last month for $20,087.

Just a few minutes ago xiao.com also sold at Namejet for $67,566. The public auction had 399 bids from 283 bidders. (The domain name XiaoXiao.com had sold for $51,000.)

Also today, daum.com sold for $50,000 at Namejet. The public auction had 159 bids from 139 bidders.

There are a few other “Asian” domain names currently at auction at Namejet such as:

Ching.com – Current high bid is $6,600 and there is no reserve. This is one of the most common Chinese surnames

Yim.com – Current high bid is $15,000. This 3 letter .com doubles as a common Chinese surname

Tsui.com – High bid is only at $260.
