  1. Interesting how few portfolio sales seem to happen considering how many domains are listed.

I had high hopes when I first listed a few hundred, but after only receiving a couple of sub-$100 offers, I removed the listings after a couple of months. There wasn’t enough exposure even with being a power seller and 150+ buyers watching my profile. With that said, I think there’s still some nice potential for the feature if they make improvements.

    • Thanks, Josh —

      Improvements are coming very shortly.

      What’s in store:
      — bulk upload capability
      — bulk edit capability
      — change of branding from ‘Catalog’ to ‘Portfolio’
      — easier access for sellers to share and promote their Portfolios
      — increased promotional efforts to broadcast sellers’ Portfolios

Any and all feedback is listened to, and in many cases, worked into the improvements. Please field all questions and suggestions to this post, anywhere on the Flippa blog posts, or directly to Help@Flippa

      • Thanks Kevin,
I think that “bulk edit capability” is the most important update of all.
Other marketplaces don’t have it after many years of asking for it…

      • Thanks Kevin. Bulk editing/upload will be very welcome. You might also include PageRank/backlink info on the listing pages.

Also, I don’t know how much demand there would be for this, but I would like to list my portfolio listings for cheaper on Flippa than other marketplaces like Afternic. This would only be something I would do if there were an option to not have the listing pages indexed by Google.
