I got an inquiry for a .com domain name and as usual I send my quote to the interested party from Ohio.
What I received was the most paranoid reply and it was not because my price was too high or something like that.
Here is the reply:
“I decline all interest in such offers or arrangements.
I never made any offers whatsoever for any domain interests of any kind. I have never attempted any such offers under any circumstances. My email address has been used unlawfully and I am informing you of this fact immediately. See to disregard any further attention , should my email be again used to contact you or related parties involving any interests you may have.
Please see to remove my e-mail address from your contacts’ list permanently, and do not send me any further emails, notices, or other methods of any contacts to me for any/all reasons.
Thank You. M.V. 2/8/2017/wed.”
Is it possible that someone else used his information on the contact form? I’m sure you checked the IP to see the inquiry came from the same city as him, however, it’s still possible a local might have sent the inquiry without his knowledge.
No, it is not. It was him. He didn’t like the price (or didn’t know what he was doing) and thought this is the way to unsubscribe.
“I decline all interest in such offers or arrangements.” who does he think he is Michael Caine playing a 1800’s aristocrat. this guy is a phony bologna stooge. the next email will start out “IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD…” what a prick.
oops my bad I thought that was him..lol one hell of a response. LoL in that case he got smacked down by an over the top response. great comeback K.Z.
You have to excuse Rednecks coming from Trump Country
