Efty: New Tools, Statistics & A Revamped Marketplace

Lionel Petitiaux, co-founder of Efty, shared some updates about the platform.

“Our goal here at Efty is to make our platform into the one tool that every domainer on the planet loves to use. We’ve made great steps in that direction, and we still see loads of opportunity ahead of us. In a minute, I’ll tell you more about what we have in store for you this year.”

Efty came out of beta right after summer, teamed up with Michael Cyger and launched many new Domain Name For-Sale landing pages.

Efty is already working on new features and improvements that will be rolling out throughout this year.

Here are a few of the new features coming soon and their description by the Efty team:

Efty finds your new and updated domains

Less administration means more time for domaining. Here’s how Efty is going to change the way you’ve been keeping your portfolio up to date.

As an Efty user, you already receive a weekly update by mail allowing you to kick off your week with a consolidated update on your portfolio. We’re stepping up our game by automatically finding your new, transferred, dropped and expired domains, and updating your Efty database accordingly.

Focus on monetizing and mastering your portfolio, while Efty does all the administrative necessities for you!

Manage your leads from within Efty

How do you like to have all sales related data in Efty, while easily communicating with clients?

We’ve been sitting on the idea of building a lead management tool in Efty for quite a while but never really got around to secure this into our development roadmap. While at the Network Lane at NamesCon, I had the opportunity to talk with a lot of our users and learn about their experience with our service. Well over a dozen of the people that came up to our booth, actually suggested that we’d start working on CRM-like functionalities.

We’re planning on releasing tools in Efty that will allow you to better manage leads and contacts. While Efty currently is all about your domains and offers somewhat of a lead management tool on the side, 2016 will shed new light on your leads and contacts.

Revamped Efty Marketplace

We’ve been getting lots of great feedback on our brand new For-Sale landing pages. Lots of our users would like to know if we have any plans in updating the Efty Marketplace as well. Well, we’ve got some great news for you: a complete redesign of the Efty Marketplace is coming!

Though the current Marketplace is serving its purpose (check out co-founder Doron’s personal Marketplace which looks pretty cool) it could use a boost in design and functionality. We’ll be releasing a stunning new responsive design, accompanied by improved integration with Efty For-Sale landing pages.

New statistics and improved insights

Wouldn’t it be awesome to see your portfolio’s Estibot value change over time, in a great looking line-graph? We fully agree!

One of the coolest features Efty offers, is the Financial Cockpit and Efty Insights. It tells you how your portfolio is performing, where you’re making or losing money and, in addition, gives you all sorts of neat insights in your domain portfolio. Over the past year we’ve received some great ideas from our users on how to further improve Efty Insights.

Firstly, we’ll make sure to make it fully customizable, so you can easily build reports based on custom date ranges. Secondly, we’ll be bringing new statistics to Efty, one of which will be the Estibot value of your portfolio.

If you have a suggestion for our reporting modules, I’d love for you to reach out and tell me all about it!

Efty redesign

It will please some of you to know that back in 2014, while in private beta, our design was described as ‘cPanel like’ by a particular individual. All jokes aside, that did in fact inspire us to do a two week design and development sprint and come up with a brand new design of our application.

Once again we’ll be doing a complete redesign of our application later this year. We’re dropping our mobile version and are aiming for a fully responsive web application, serving all types of devices out there.

Before releasing the redesign, we’ll be updating Efty’s domain grid, accompanied by better bulk editing options. These are currently in beta and we’re seeing great improvement on speed and overall usability.
