Rick Schwartz – I Am Waiting For His Next Post With His Biggest Fan

gtldsWhen I subscribed to be notified of new comments on Rick Schwartz’s article called “The Rick Schwartz Equation”, I never expected it to be one of the last posts he made on his blog. He then had the last TRAFFIC conference and announced his retirement. While I get how “retirement” works I am still waiting for a post from Rick. I have never met him but I am sure I feel like I know him a little bit. I can’t believe that domain names were just work for him. Domains were and I believe still are his passion. Does he feel the urge to write a post every once in a while. I believe so. And that is why I still have hope for his next post. Meanwhile Rick’s biggest fan, Jeff Schneider (Metal Tiger), has made not 1, not 10 but over 100 comments of Ricks’s post, and still continues to make them until today. I have thought about unsubscribing but I just don’t.

  1. link does not work. 🙂

  2. Rick is still participating from time to time, just directly via email.. shoot him an interesting mail and u can be sure to get his thoughtful comment on whatever domain related topic you are discussing, as did i just the past week..

  3. From my understanding, Rick won’t be at THE Domain Conference either, and does not directly or indirectly endorse the event. Retirement has its benefits, especially when one lives in Florida. 😀

    • There are many domainers in Florida and I’m lucky to live in South Florida, but I’ve only been to one domainer meeting.

On a related topic, can anybody recommendation one or two domainers (with large portfolios) that offer consulting services because I would like to pay for quality advice on pricing strategies which is one of my weaknesses.

      Thanks

      • Edward I have not forgotten your email. Sorry but I have been very busy lately.

      • Thanks Konstantinos,

I remember reading one of your posts where you mentioned that you were very busy with two businesses/websites as well as your own domain portfolio and had therefore limited time for searching for and acquiring more domains.

I’m willing to pay more than one consultant to get different points of view on pricing strategies.

    Hello Konstantino,

We have chosen to release this statement on your active Blog :

The New Quasi-Derivative gTLDs are not the answer to Maximum Online Business EXPANSION, They are the BARRIER TO MAXIMUM ONLINE BUSINESS EXPANSION.They are in actuality the Vehicles to continue the Suppression of Online Business Expansion. Here is the Big Macro-economic Picture. The Country that breaks free, and transcends the SEM Model for Online Business Suppresion, will be the next Catalyst for the largest Business Expansion the world has ever seen.
