“Preferably call me in the afternoon and speak Spanish.”

I got one of those usual messages on one of my domains from someone that has clearly the wrong website and complains. But this time the response got me laughing…

So the inquiry I got was on a one word .org domain name I own and it was this:

“not that continue taking my money from my card if I had canceled all this. and I have evidence where they told me they would refund my money but they are taking me without my permission.”

That was the complete email. I didn’t edit anything.

I explained that they have the wrong website and that I have never taken any money from anyone in connection to this domain name.

Then I got another email:
“I know I tell that I am not to argue with you or with anyone if you are so kind or any other representative can contact me at *** 4*7 3**3 because I have evidence that on September 29, 2016 the company withdrew an amount from my card. thank you very much and preferably call me in the afternoon and speak Spanish. Thanks for your time.”

The part about calling her in the afternoon speaking Spanish cracked me up!

Again I explained that I don’t know who she is and what she is talking about. I don’t have a business in the US using this domain name. I am from Greece. Told her again she has the wrong website. This is ******.org and I have not charged anyone anything. And I certainly don’t speak Spanish. 🙂

I finally gave her some ideas of different websites that incorporate my domain name.

I got another email with a screenshot attached:

“i’m not bad and well where are located the only thing to my I intereza is because I took a amount of money if I don’t I did any order with you. at the end you never lose when make a claim. I miss you are always good. thank you for nothing. and if you do not know that I’m talking about, because then if you find someone who knows. for more information and I’m talking about this. this photo you sent me with an order number which unauthorized and besides that took me $ 75.00 from my account. that’s what I’m talking about”

It was clear from the screenshot that the website she was looking for was ****Keyword.com. Not even a .org domain name. Kind of depressing as to how much people know about the internet.

  2. Just speak pretend spanish!!

  3. I am wondering if a Spanish-speaking South American country person talks in Spanish to local people at an international airport in Hong Kong or Tokyo or Shanghai. I guess they do so definitely.
