Mike Mann’s Latest Domain Acquisitions & Sales (DutchPot .com, WeAreParents .com, GoHorse .com)

Here is a look at some of Mike Mann’s domain acquisitions and sales from December. December was a slower month…

Mike Mann is the owner of DomainMarket.com that offers more than 250,000 premium domain names for sale.

These are the stats that Mike posted on Facebook in January 15, 2017:

Updated DomainMarket.com stats:
Domains available for sale: 269,013
Domain price average: $12,539
[Last 30] Sales average: $2,598
[Last 30] New users: 1,777,725

Domain name sales:

DutchPot.com $4000. Purchased 10/28/10 $69

OurUnited.com $7000. Purchased 9/16/2011 $8

ModernStamp.com $5400. Acquired 10-09-12 $7.50

WeAreParents.com $7000. Purchased 10/16/16 $20

GoHorse.com $5000. Purchased 12/4/10 $211

Domain name purchases:

UnparalleledProcessing.com purchased, $8, this one I actually made up without lists or software

(One thing to remember is that Mike Mann needs to sell about $2.5 million worth of domains per year to break even and that he is NOT a flipper. The average holding time for his sold domains is usually more than 5 years.)

  1. Mike Mann loses money, renewals>sales. Do the math, failed business model. Mike is a good guy, his is right on about Gtld though.

  2. I like weareparents ……… a very global name

  3. “[Last 30] New users: 1,777,725”

    What exactly does it mean?

  4. Like your post about Mike Mann’s sales. Found ModernStamp as an active site at the moment. Well, I think profitability is not just yearly renewals minus sales. You need to also look at the value of total portfolio.
