cars-auto-carCars Registry, a joint venture between XYZ and Uniregistry, today announced the start of the Early Access Period (EAP) running January 12-20.

GoDaddy is selling .cars, .car and .auto domains at GoDaddy.Cars for prices starting just above $59,000. This is a one time fee.

Here is the complete Go Daddy EAP domain name price structure:

Phase 1 – Starting at $59,049.99
Starts: Tuesday, January 12, 2016 4:00 PM UTC
Phase 2 – Starting at $34,049.99
Starts: Friday, January 15, 2016 4:00 PM UTC
Phase 3 – Starting at $15,299.99
Starts: Saturday, January 16, 2016 4:00 PM UTC
Phase 4 – Starting at $9,049.99
Starts: Tuesday, January 19, 2016 4:00 PM UTC
The preregistration fee that is set for general availability is $2,799.99. Renewals are going to retail at about $2,500 per year.
