My Weekend DomainNameSales.com Inquiries Are Not In My Account Inbox

dns_brokersDomainNameSales.com is back from the weekend maintenance work that promised the integration with Uniregistry. The integrated experience is to be called Uniregistry Market.

I haven’t noticed any obvious changes in the DomainNameSales.com or the Uniregistry platforms but I bet there were some backend changes. Probably they are saving the big revelation for NamesCon 2016 this January in Las Vegas.

DomainNameSales.com’s announcement said that during the maintenance downtime “You will not be able to log in or use the Domain Name Sales website, but inquiries from potential buyers will not be affected and continue to be collected.”.

I received all the emails about the inquiries during the weekend. (At least I think I received all of them.)

But the problem is that I can’t find the inquiries in my DomainNameSales.com account inbox. I can only see the ones I got after the system came back up. Now when I visit the inquiry from the email link, I see a strange status.

Instead of “Status Unactioned, new inquiry” I see “Status Inquiry that has not been created”. I wonder if the inquiries will appear in my inbox some time soon or not. I am also starting to worry that I might missed a few inquiries.

Any help from a DomainNameSales.com representative would be appreciated.

BTW I am using Android so I don’t know if the iOS app works but I was just told that it doesn’t show these inquiries either.

  1. I am also experiencing the same thing…

  2. Same here. Then again, they were from Chinese lowballers looking to get my premium Western LLLL .coms at 1/20th of their value.

  3. I am getting the emails but with all the new inquiries it shows “Status Inquiry that has not been created”.

Also there is another problem… When I respond to any new inquiry, I get email for that as well (for my response).

  4. I got 3 mails related to inquiries but nothing is in inbox…I observed no changes in DNS (may be backend)..

My wait for android app may last forever…

  5. Same status created, before free price quote, I used to get much more indication, even a lot of hints, now just blank emails.

When you make the first move, you are going to lose a lot of money.

Please add bulk delete, to many garbage inquiries to close out one by one.

  6. I just noticed i am getting inquiries at DNS forwarded to my personal email adress twice.. first shortly after receiving in the DNS inbox which is fine, and again about 30 minutes later (without any action taken on the inquiry at DNS yet).. not sure if i am the only one noticing this hiccup today

  7. Currently I get no inquiry emails, yet they arrive at my DNS inbox.

  8. This update seems to have run into bugs.

I wanted to handreg a .com via Uniregistry today. In my four attempts, the payment was rejected.

I went to GD and registered the name with the same payment method.

Now, i get a message from my bank that four payments were deducted by Uniregistry. I’ve reached out to Uniregistry support to cancel the payments, i did not buy anything from it 🙂

  9. Now a lot of old inquiries have a 21st November 2015 date pushing my newer inquiries way down.
This is too confusing. Feels a little bit like the moniker “upgrade”.

  10. Kostas, what a mess …
Why don’t you try Voodoo, also Rick Schwartz uses it 🙂

  11. Konstantinos,

The DomainNameSales platform will be merging with Uniregistry in the very near future. The maintenance is still ongoing behind the scenes, and you will still experience some glitches along the way. The good news is all of the mission critical features are working. The even better news is this is a small price to pay with what is to come in the very near future.

If you are having problems like the one mentioned above please create a customer service ticket. We actually already know about your issue, and are working on it.

  12. A little bit of downtime is no reason to start looking for the exit. 🙂

I can’t remember the last time the site ever being disrupted, a rock solid platform.

  13. Very little inquires here too.

As per the maintenance statement they will eventually be served up into those accounts?

“but inquiries from potential buyers will not be affected and continue to be collected.”

  14. Right now I cannot access old inquiries. Say I look up a domain which has received multiple inquiries…it shows me how many, but nothing else. All has disappeared from the bottom of the page where old inquiry links and quotes were listed. All responded to inquiries are gone. All forwarded inquiries gone too at the moment
