It is a very rare occasion when I need to contact the Escrow.com support. Transactions run smoothly no matter what the amount is or the number of domain names.
So whenever I need support it is always a nice reminder to see escrow.com’s first class support in action.
I sold a domain name to a European buyer and as I know him for years I accepted to pay the escrow.com fees. I sent him an invoice for the full amount he paid and the escrow fee was deducted from the amount I received from escrow.com.
So I was in need of an invoice from Escrow.com for these fees so I don’t pay taxes on them. I sent an email to support requesting this invoice and I received it a few hours later. And of course as the transaction was made in Euro, the escrow.com invoice was in Euro as well.
I must point out that what seems straight forward like this can become a nightmare if the company issuing the invoice is non-responsive or simply will not cooperate. I am still waiting after many years for an invoice from a very well known US registry that simply refuses to send it.
Invoices are very important, especially to Europeans, and are on a tight schedule. I only have a month after each transaction to submit the invoice to my tax office. So I don’t want any hassles when I have to gather 100s of them every month.
So I felt the need to thank Escrow.com for its first class support and a solid invoice system. You ask, they deliver. As simple as that.

Hi Claude,
hope you are well.
Yes, Escrow.com probably gets 95% of my transactions. And the other 5% is not my choice.
Thanks
