I am finally going to what will be my first domain name conference: NamesCon 2015 in Las Vegas.
I wanted for years to go to a conference but most of the times it was the travel time that stopped me. I don’t really enjoy traveling. But who does?
I will be “on the road” for about 24 hours leaving Greece early in the morning on Friday and arriving Friday night in Las Vegas. Factor in the 10 hour difference and you will understand why I am certain that I will not enjoy it. I will be first flying from Athens to London and then from London to Las Vegas. If anyone is flying from London to Las Vegas on Friday, let me know.
I will be in Las Vegas from Friday night until Saturday January 17.
If anyone wants to meet, eat or drink and talk domains (or anything else…) then please leave a comment below or send me an email. I have not yet arranged anything as it is my first time and I have no idea how I will manage my time and how each day will go.
I created a chat webpage here so anyone can talk during NamesCon sessions and comment. Let me know if this works ok as I have not yet tested it.
I will be playing some foosball, as Americans call it, on Monday against ParkingCrew.com for charity. If anyone wants to join me, my nickname is GreekFreak and I am playing on 16.15. ParkingCrew.com will donate $100 to WaterSchool for every game they lose. And I hear they make a lot of donations. 🙂
