Verisign, the registry operator for .com, .net and other domain names, is releasing a series of short, humorous videos this month promoting .com and .net domain names
You can see the first 2 videos, Cake in a Club and Fish on a Bus here.
Verisign released 2 new videos from the “Make Your Idea Official” campaign called “Bee at a bar” and “Cabbage Car Chase.
great commercials, but are they this threatened? Why now? Why not 10 years ago…. what ever verisign. To me it just looks like last ditch effort, with no purpose. It wont affect gtlds, those that will fail, will fail. Which is vast majority, and those that will survive will thrive.
I like them too. Seems that Verisign is trying to do something.
PIR with .org is trying too.
Not like Afilias and Neustar that have given up for .info, .biz and .us.
Incredibly stupid commercials. I think .com will kick ass despite their poor marketing. Shouldn’t it be the gtld registries that do some advertising before they all go extinct?
