Flippa announced today that they have introduced many new features that makes it easier to find what websites and domain names you’re looking for.
With the new Site Type filter, you can narrow down your search results based on what kind of website you’re looking for. You can search by website type (Blog, Ecommerce, Content, Services, Directory, Review, App and Forum) or by any of the 15 Niches provided such as Internet and Business.
Are you only looking for .com or .info domains? You can now filter your domain results to show only the domains that have the extensions you want: .com, .org, .net, ,.info, .me and .io. I only wish there were more options such as .biz, .us and New gTLDs.
Flippa also improved the “Sort by” bar on every search page to let you sort your results based on:
- Ending Soon
- Most Bids
- Most Watched
- Most Recent, and
- Lowest Price
Don’t forget they recently launched a Domain Catalog option as well. For some reason .TV domains are having difficulty with the Whois read but I have uploaded a couple hundred domains as a test to see if any offers come through.

You are perfectly right, they have to add all the TLD options, giving the prospect buyers the ability to find domains in each single ccTLD and each single new gTLD. I can’t understand the reason behind the choice of limiting the search to 6 TLDs only.
