Lil Wayne Facing Lawsuit Over Domain Name YoungMoney.com Bought For $600,000 in 2011

A new lawsuit has been filed against Lil Wayne and his Young Money label over the domain name YoungMoney.com bought for $600,000 in 2011.

Lil Wayne and his Young Money label may have to find a new domain name for their official website that promotes stars like Drake and Nicki Minaj among many others.

TMZ reports the original owners of youngmoney.com, an entrepreneurial management company, have filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne. According to the suit the company sold the site name to Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment for $600,000 but is still owed $250,000.

The original agreement apparently stipulated if Young Money Entertainment did not make payments on time then the domain name would return to the initial owners. So the seller is suing to get the domain name back.
