10 .COM Hand Registrations Versus 10 New gTLD Hand Registrations

I thought about posting my 10 latest .com hand registrations but then I thought why not include 10 of my New gTLD hand registrations as well for comparison? I am always looking to buy domains and sometimes I am surprised as to what I find free.

I was part of a hand registration contest that Elliot run on his blog. I came 3rd in the contest and wrote an article with my chronicle in the contest: My adventures in “Domain Name Hand Registration” circa 2014.

A lot of my latest .com hand registrations were inspired by New gTLD domains or while searching to buy New gTLD domains. Here are 10 of my latest .com hand registrations:

ClinicalAgency.com ( I got clinical.agency as well)
OpticsGlass.com (optics.glass was bought for $12,500 on EAP day 1)
AbuDhabiCompany.com (AbuDhabi.Company was bought for $1200 on EAP day 3 and is a $50 premium)
CCtldDomains.com (CCtldDomain.com is taken since 2000, cctld.domains was taken by Mike Berkens on EAP day 5)

CarouselPhotos.com (carousel.photos was bought for $12,500 on EAP day 1)
FakePrinter.com (I got into the 3d/printer craze…)
3DFakes.com (I got into the 3d/printer craze…)
3DFake.com (I got into the 3d/printer craze…)
DigitalToothbrush.com (digital smartphone-connected toothbrush coming soon…)
InfantSleepApnea.com (Get this. You will sleep better at night if you have a baby.)

Here are 10 (I couldn’t take out 2 more from my list so here are 12 domains) of my New gTLD hand registrations. I have not included any EAP or premium domains (where I got the best of my new gtld domains) and my limit for this list was only 1 domain per New gTLD:
domains.ventures
calendar.photography
casting.photos
backup.tips
robot.camera
blog.systems
domainname.support
laser.glass
logistics.link
club.red
team.pink
wear.blue

How do these compare? What do you think?

  1. Keeping in mind that we’ll still see for quite some time nice sales in .com i think you have a nicely set of handregs there ! I like also the new gTLDs , most are to the point in terms of combining the left with the right side. I can imagine that even without knowing a domain some one looking for a product in a niche would try typing product.glass without even searching 🙂

    I recently handregged a bunch, here are a few;

    hybridai.com
    holoreality.com
    hololook.com

  2. It is challenging enough to sell domains for high $XXX even in .COM. I just view these new TLDs as too risky at least for me.

  3. I hand reg’d:

    StraightCouple.com
    204050.com
    AdultLA.com
    CrassTV.com
    CLicense.com
    FleetDrone.com
    WeedBlends
    ShopByZipCodes.com
    CoLess.com
    iAuxiliary.com
    OfficialHealthExchange.com
    AahIndia.com
    BioScramble.com
    GlassColumn.com
    HouseColumn.com
    Preparation1.com
    SpanishJew.com
    MobileColumn.com
    InsuranceColumn.com
    EnergyColumn.com
    MedicalColumn.com
    MonthlyDigital.com
    HourlyTips.com
    MDUSolar.com
    GrillExchange.com

  4. And to test Frank Schilling’s Claim, Registrar, Outfit, and Operations. I registered:

    Spiel.Link

  5. My pigeon shit dot com domains will always beat your best new gtlds domains.
