Why are you buying New gTLD domains? (poll)

I think it would be useful for all to understand why domainers are buying New gTLD domains. My purchases so far are a combination of long term investments, some domains I could flip and a couple of personal ones.

But I mostly buy cheap domains as a long term investment. So my vote goes to the first option. If I can’t buy cheap I simply don’t buy at all. I try to get caught in the domaining fever.

I define a long term investment as a 5-10 year registration. A flip is done before a domain name comes up for the first renewal.
