Sedo Rolls Out Updates to the Buyer Control Panel But…

Sedo rolled out some updates to the “Buyer Control Panel” but this feels more like a bug fix than an update. Sedo’s goal was to make buying a domain name easier, so they just made some updates to theirBuyer Control Panel. Customers now have a more intuitive interface that makes it easier to organize auctions, purchases, and brokerage orders. The truth is that the previous “Buyer Control Panel” was “broken” since it was released a few years back. You couldn’t correctly sort by a column (Domain, Status, Last Bid, Your max bid, time left) and the search function was pretty much unpredictable. These were the only 2 things that I needed. Now it seems that these have been fixed.

Some of the changes include:

  • A reorganized dropdown allowing you to switch more easily between different views
  • More prominent placement for the search box at the top of the Control Panel
  • Simplified options below the Control Panel for submitting bids or adding domains to your watchlist

Now it’s time for Sedo to fix this and this.
