After the first 2 GoDaddy/Afilias auctions, the next batch of premium .info domains moves to a new venue. Namejet has partnered with Afilias to auction this list of 79 Premium .INFO domains for the first time. The list includes domains such as books.info, gold.info, casinos.info, shop.info, stocks.info and a lot more. Each name is listed with No Reserve and will sell to the highest bidder. If you want to place bids above $2500 you will need to become a verified bidder.
The 79 auctions will not all end on the same day. The auctions run from May 3rd to May 10th. You need to backorder in advance so you will be able to bid.
Here is the complete list of the 79 .info domains with the backorder deadline:

This will be an interesting auction. I can see a couple of those names going for mid $x,xxx.
I think that a lot will go for 5 figures. These are some of the best .info.
It’s amazing that this is the only post on domaining.com about this announcement. It’s by far the best premium .info auction. The *average* price is mid $x,xxxx when it’s all said and done. I can’t even name all the ones that will go 5 figures and I’m trying to pick which may go over $20k – it’ll be more than a couple unless this auction gets no attention at all. Candidates (and I’m sure I’ll miss some) – Games, Jobs, Mortgage, Gold, Tickets, Casinos, Stocks, Vacation.
There was no announcement. I found the auctions at namejet.
The official announcement from Afilias will probably in 1-2 weeks.
You are right that this is best auction so far.
I am afraid that I will not be able to buy any of these… 🙂
It was on Afilias’s facebook page and Afilias tweeted it. Definitely not the kind of marketing I would expect as we get closer but still pretty official.
Yeah, and I’m in the same boat. I’ve coveted some of these names for a very long time but I’m almost certain they are out of my price range. Good luck!
(btw, I know for a fact I’ve been involved in at least one bidding contest with you and lost (on a .us at PremiumSale) so I hope the trend doesn’t continue!)
I missed it and I am sure most of the people missed it too.
I told them the last time that they need to send a press release but I guess they don’t agree.
And I am one of .info biggest fans. If not the biggest…
(what was the domain? 🙂 )
