Joan Collins files UDRP complaint for the domain JoanCollins.com at WIPO

British actress Joan Collins, 79, filed a cybersquatting UDRP complaint at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The complaint was filed for the domain name JoanCollins.com. The complaint asks the WIPO to transfer away the domain name from its current owner and hand them over to Joan Collins.

The official Joan Collins website is located at JoanCollins.net and she also owns the domain name Joan-Collins.com that redirects to JoanCollins.net.

JoanCollins.com is currently for sale as the current webpage clearly says so:

The domain was first registered in 1999 and the current owner probably bought it in 2007 and he has been trying to sell it since then.

The UDRP (Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy) complaint with case number D2013-0290 has not yet commenced as it is pending compliance review at WIPO. Usually the decision is published within one to two months after a case is commenced.
