Flippa’s general manager, Nick Kenn, issued an update on what’s new on Flippa.
Here’s what’s new at Flippa as we enter 2015:
- Websites – with listing numbers growing significantly at every price bracket, 2,600 at time of writing, plus a free–to-list option (Website Classifieds)
- Deal Flow – In the last 6 weeks of the year alone, $2 million worth of web businesses changed hands through the Deal Flow team, with the transactional sweet-spot in the $40,000 – $3 million range
- Domains – from 400 domain listings this time last year, Flippa now has 430,000 domain names for you to choose from
- Apps – There are 210 apps listed on Flippa right now, versus 20 this time last year
New features:
- New Domains Experience– New filters, infinite scroll and a daily email alert for newly listed domains make it easier to find what you’re looking for
- Websites Classifieds and Domains Catalog – are free listing options for those wanting to sell. They get your listing live and appear below all auctions in search results. You can push to auction at any time to raise their profile
- Price Reduction – Success fees were standardised across the marketplace at 10% and also minimum success fees were removed
