Hey GoDaddy, I want the money I paid for domain backorders back

I see that GoDaddy’s “Backorders and monitoring” service is being retired on October 7, 2025.

I have over 20 of these backorders from back in the day when these backorders used to catch a random domain name here and there. These are worth over $400.

I also see no clear way to get these funds back.

I could only find this:

“What happens to my existing backorder credits?
You can use existing backorder credits until October 7, 2025, after which, any remaining credits will be removed for your account. Assigning backorder credits to a GoDaddy Auctions® win is also an option to help you secure the domains you want.”

I don’t even know what “Assigning backorder credits to a GoDaddy Auctions® win” means and frankly I do not want to know.

I just want my $400+ back as a refund or at least as a store credit.

These are $400 that I didn’t manage to use because GoDaddy’s backorder service was non-existent.

I want back the $400 that GoDaddy plans to steal from me on October 7, 2025.
