Namecheap becomes the 2nd largest domain name registrar

Richard Kirkendall, Namecheap CEO, announced on twitter that Namecheap is now the 2nd largest domain name registrar in the world behind Godaddy.

According to RegistrarOwl Namecheap just surpassed Tucows to become the 2nd largest registrar. As of today it has 10,116,123 domains.
