NamesCon 2020 Day 2: What not to miss!

NamesCon Global 2020, the Domain Economic Forum, continues today at Austin Texas for the 2nd day. The popular domain name conference runs from Wednesday January 29th up to Saturday February 1st, 2020.

NamesCon is taking place at the Omni Hotel’s downtown Austin location. The exhibition area, breakout sessions, and workshops — as well as the meeting and lounge areas — take place in this location. The keynotes, partner workshops, and the live domain auction also take place at the Omni. Some other key events are within a few minutes’ walk.

Day 2: Thursday January 30, 2020

The Domain Economic Forum kicks off with sessions around transparency. Other sessions include valuation, monetization, and branding. All day you can visit the Exhibition Area and meet a wide range of presenting partners. NamesCon Live Domain Auction is also today.

It’s been 20 years since the UDRP was enacted. Has it been a success, or has it been a failure for registrants? The ICANN Working Group mandated to review the UDRP is underway. What reforms and changes are needed to the UDRP? Hear from both the Czech Arbitration Court and the Forum, two of the six accredited UDRP dispute resolution providers, as well as a prominent domain name investor and a leading UDRP lawyer.
