Day 5 of EAP started yesterday for .Online and in the first 45 minutes there were 532 domain name registrations.
Registrants pay about $150 more on EAP day 5 on top of the registration price.
Later in the day Radix Registry informed me that they had already seen 590+ EAP requests. Today’s zone files show that more than 600 domains (the number is somewhere between 640 and 700) were registered in EAP day 5 with only a few hours into it. Tomorrow I will have more complete stats.
Across the last 5 days, .online has received 715 EAP requests in total and Radix is confident the number will grow with 2 more days of EAP to go. They have seen requests for generics like orderfood.online, crowdsourcing.online, battle.online, dontations.online, shares.online, assistance.online. Additionally, 10+ premium domains have also been registered during the early access phase.
.Online seems to have broken the highest record held by .news of 400 registrations on day 5 of EAP. .Online had 775 sunrise orders.
The Early Access for .online goes on until 26th August, 15:59 and general availability starts at 16:00 on 26th August.
Have you bought any .online yet?
Count is currently at 723 according to Radix.
Thanks for sharing. I personally bought many .online domains so I following these numbers very close. Let’s see.
I see many people buying Keyword1Keyword2 DOT Keyword 3
which I think deceives the whole point of GTLDS, and simplicity
When I see these domains all I can say is: drop.
“general availability starts at 16:00 on 26th August.” – What time zone please?
GMT
konsta, where to check registered new gTLD registration or renewal cost previously I use to check @ 101domain now just showing the price for available domains not the registered ones.
