I get plenty of inquiries by people that are clearly confused asking me to book a room for them or get them a taxi at the airport or looking for a used part for their car… (?)
But sometimes I get an inquiry that is somehow a bit weirder that makes me laugh.
Enter Joel. When I got an inquiry for the domain name Joel.info that I own and then saw that the buyer’s name was Joel I thought that this was another guy asking to buy his name. But it wasn’t.
I guess Joel just thought: I am looking to buy the domain name *******.info. Who is better to ask than the person that owns my own name!
So this is the comment he left me at Joel.info:
“Im Joël. is ********.info available?”
I guess he thinks that the person that has his name in .info might as well own every .info domain name in the world. Actually I own a lot of .info but not the one that Joel is after!
I explained to him that I don’t own the .info he was after and I never heard from him again.
Yo, what new in Greece?
