Namejet.com teamed up with with .Global Registry and Right Of The Dot to hold an Online/Live auction during the ICANN London Conference for 82 premium .Global domain names. 35 out of the 82 domains were sold yesterday for a total value of $63,780. Highlight sales include Banking.Global that sold for $12,000, Sports.Global that sold for $8,000 and IDW.Global that got $5,200.
Namejet.com handled the pre-bidding on the domains before the live auction, which was held today in London during the ICANN 50 conference.
These domains were anticipated to be sold in the price range of $1,000 USD to $50,000 USD. Many were priced at no reserve and most of the domains carried a reserve of $5,000 or less. All of the domains carry normal renewal prices.
All domains that didn’t meet reserve will go to an extended auction at Namejet.
(The auction was a bit confusing because the reserves were changed during the auction. So I am not too sure about a couple of auction prices: cannabis.global and trading.global))
