94% of .eu registrars feel they have a good relationship with EURid, according to the results of the 2013 Registrar Satisfaction Survey. This figure has increased 7% from last year. Registrar satisfaction is at 78% with .com domain names. 77% of the registrars offer 30 or more TLDs.

If they are satisfied why they don’t push Eurid’s way of managing domains as a standard?!?
Maybe they don’t want to lose the money for their unnecessary whois privacy services?!?
Maybe they don’t want the registrant can bypass them in case of issues arise taking completely by himself the authcode directly from the registry?!?
A lot of registrars don’t charge you for whois privacy.
