Domain Name True.com Sold For $350,000 USD at Sedo

Dave Evanson, senior sales and brokerage consultant for Sedo.com, announced today at Twitter that he co-brokered the sale of the domain name True.com for $350,000 with Negar Hajikhani, a sales executive at Sedo.

The domain was bought by TrueCar Inc. owner of the domain name TrueCar.com that is a negotiation-free car buying platform.

True.com now displays the following message:

We are True. An ecosystem of data driven companies committed to bringing transparency to complex marketplaces.

The domain name True.com was originally registered in 1994 and was previously owned by True Systems, Inc. up until 2004 and then by HDVE, LLC, a dating company.
