3Dvideo.com sells at Namejet for $6,050 after being sold last month for $20,087

3dvideo.com sold at Namejet for $6,050 after being sold last month for $20,087. The winning bidder of the first auction didn’t pay the winning price within the 28 days provided by Namejet after the auction ended and that costed Namejet $14,037.

But the winning bidder saved a lot of money. The bidder paid $6,050 instead of $19,987 that was it’s highest bid in the first auction. The bidder saved about $14k.

That is not even half the money of the first auction. The final price was way lower and of course there were fewer bids. 79 bids compared with 145 bids in the first auction.

It seems that most bidders don’t like to bid on domains that have come from a non-paying bidder auction. So do I. You spend time bidding and the auction is cancelled. You feel that this can happen again or maybe you have spend your budget on another domain. Your proxy has been revealed so you are afraid someone will push you close to it. Can you think any more reasons?

Here are 10 auctions in Namejet from the past year where the first auction winner defaulted on payment. The domains were reauctioned in a private auction. These are only the domains that I had a backorder on. If you know any other domains please post a comment. All 10 auctions ended lower than the first auction.
