Sedo sells pizza.nl for 75000 Euro ($103,318 USD) to the owner of takeaway.com

Sedo just announced the sale of the domain pizza.nl for 75000 Euro or $103,318 USD. The domain was originally registered in 1996.

The domain was bought by dutch company Thuisbezorgd.NL and is currently redirecting to thuisbezorgd.nl. “Thuis bezorgd” means “home delivery” in English.

The dutch company also owns the domain takeaway.com. They also bought the domain at Sedo for $36,000 USD. The purchase was done in 2011 and it was really a steal.

Congrats to the seller and buyer of pizza.nl.

Update: The same buyer also bought Pizza.es at Sedo for 35000 Euro.

    Congrats to both parties. Nice price and good specially for the seller of Pizza.nl

    Previously the buyer of takeaway.com got a great deal for $36k which was really a bargain as you said. I agree with you.
