ICM Registry drives a hard bargain: company bought 25 .xxx domains and got no discount

ICM Registry announced on the 14th of February the sale of 25 Premium Domains in a deal worth $185,000 to IRIS SARL, based in Luxembourg. ICM didn’t reveal the complete list of the domain names and the prices. I had reported the sale of these domains a week earlier and I had included the individual price for each domain name:

The total sales value of the 25 premium .xxx domains was $184,470 and the reported sales value, that was probably rounded off, was $185,000. This means that the prices ICM Registry has put for the list of 1046 premium .xxx domain names are firm and no further negotiations can be made. IRIS SARL didn’t get a discount and that was the second significant order from IRIS who previously acquired $650,000 of premium Names back in September 2012. If they couldn’t get a discount with that much volume then I think that no one else can.
