ICANN sends notices of breach to 10 registrars

As of 11 January 2013, 10 ICANN accredited registrar are in breach of their Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

ICANN requests that these 10 registrars cure the breaches by 1 February 2013, 15 working days from the date of the letter ICANN send to the affected registrars.

The registrars are required to Complete the Audit Request for Information (RFI) Phase and some need to pay all past due accreditation fees that remain unpaid.

After failure to timely cure the breaches and provide the information requested, ICANN may
commence the registrar termination process.

The 10 affected registrars are:

  • Cheapies.com
  • DomainMonger.com
  • LimeDomains.com
  • NameVault.com
  • PowerBrandCenter.com
  • crosscert.com
  • matbao.com
  • DomainsToBeSeen.com
  • usacsp.com
  • nayana.com
