Anyone experiencing delays at Pool?

I won a domain name on the 4th of November in an auction. I never got the “Congratulations! You have won domain(s)!” email from Pool but I also didn’t get the continuous emails telling me that there was a problem with my credit card. So I thought that Pool charged me as usual and I somehow missed the ” Congratulations! ” email.

To my surprise I got this email today, the 13th of November. That is 9 days after I won the domain. I checked my credit card and it had funds the whole time and was not charged until today. I also checked my account at Pool and the invoice for this domain has today’s date. This was a dropped domain so there couldn’t be any problems with the owner renewing like at Go Daddy or something.

Has anybody else experienced such delays with Pool lately? It seems that if a domain was not in auction you could have won a domain and not know it yet after several days.

  2. I’ve had this happen with them before and just had the same issue. It actually happened with two separate names that i won on the 1st and on the 8th; i got their congratulatory email today but it was one email as opposed to two.
