Braden Pollock Buys The Domain Name Pleasure.com

Braden-Pollok_1Braden Pollock, a well known domainer and owner of Legal Brand Marketing, revealed during a Domaining Europe session that he recently bought the domain name Pleasure.com. The domain name was bought through a broker for an undisclosed amount. The deal almost went south as the seller got a higher offer after agreeing with Braden Pollock to sell the domain name. The offer was for $5,000 more than the agreed price. Finally, the two parties agreed to go through with the sale for the agreed price. The transaction was completed in early March, 2015. The seller from Houston owned the domain name since at least 2002. He was probably the original registrant back in 1994. Braden Pollock is a domainer and serial entrepreneur who owns several companies, both online and off. Braden owns ScienceFiction.com and several franchises of Smart Start, an ignition interlock provider with service locations throughout the US (IgnitionInterlock.com, SmartStartofCalifornia.com, etc). He has an equity interest in several other businesses including The Grooming Network (StraightRazors.com, etc), FashionMetric.com and Epik.com. His domain portfolio is well into the thousands of names with a current focus on premium one-word .com names.

      According to Archive, the domain has hosted adult content … and the owner has been the same at least since 1996, a Mr James Lick … lol … 😀
      We don’t deal with adult names, but in this case I think the domain could have many possible uses in other sectors, since it’s both a generic term and a great brandable …

  3. It was originally listed in December by Domain Holdings for $150,000. They then reduced it to $120,000 on February 10th.
