New gTLD 1st Day Registrations: .NYC 26853, .City 4094, .Lawyer 3240, .Attorney 2156, .Desi 320

Here are the domain name registration results from this week’s 5 New gTLD launches:

.Desi launched on the 6th of October and got 320 domains in its first day of general availability.

1 Donuts New gTLD went out of the EAP pricing and into the real (reg fee) general availability on Wednesday: .City. .City has 4,094 domains after day 1.

.NYC is entered general availability on the 8th of October. It has 26,853 domains today. More on .nyc on a more detailed post you can find here.

Rightside launched .lawyer and .attorney on the 8th of October. .Lawyer has 3,240 domains today and .attorney has 2,156 domains.

The “New gTLD 1st Day Registrations” include sunrise domain names as well as any domains registered by the registry or any founder’s program. Any registry is allowed to register up to 100 domains for it’s own use and give out another 100 as part of the New gTLD founder’s program.
