Is blockchain back? Some people that have started registering loads of blockchain domains seem to believe it. I know that it was never gone but the big hype has subsided.
The top 10 trending keywords registered in .COM and .NET domain names during the month of March 2019 were published by Verisign, the .com and .net registry.
You can find the list from last month here.
My experience shows that 700 or 800 (or even less) domain registrations are enough to bring a keyword into the top 10.
There was no common keyword in the 2 lists.

I dont think that blockchain is back in heat, nothing major is different from last few month. Maybe just couple of hand reg learned about blockchain and got aggressive.
Maybe but they must have registered 1,500-2,000 domains.
There is still a decent amount of folks inquiring about blockchain names but less that are willing to pull the trigger right now. We shall see if this changes if the crypto market perks up a bit more this year. Blockchain will continue to be a long term trend IMO.
Cheers,
Mike
@Mike
Blockchain is here to stay in the same way “Cloud” was/is — being used in healthcare, finance, real estate, media and more. This is a technology already adopted by Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle and hundreds of companies.
Virtual Currencies/Altcoins — I don’t have a clue. Extremely volatile. Maybe a few crypto currencies such as BTC, Eos, Ether will survive — or one that hasn’t even launched. Too speculative for me
