A new organization protecting the rights of domain name registrants was founded

“Domain Name Rights Coalition“, a new organization protecting the rights of domain name registrants was founded.

The organization says it is “dedicated to protecting the rights of Internet Domain Name Registrants and fight for fair and balanced Internet policies. All should have equal rights to register domain names, the great signs of Internet speech, including small businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations, in every country of the world, now and in the future.”

Kathy Kleiman is the Co-Founder and President of the organization. She is an attorney that specializes in helping to provide fair and balanced policies for the more than 140 million domain name registrants, including traditionally underrepresented individuals, noncommercial organizations, entrepreneurs and small businesses. At NamesCon 2018, Kathy received the Internet Commerce Association’s Lonnie Borck Memorial Award “in recognition of your extraordinary efforts in championing the rights of domain name registrants.”

Michael Karanicolas is the Director of Policy.
