  1. Hmmm, Sedo is not a leader anymore. High value domain name sellers use different brokers. It is clear that Sedo is using just their “network” to wait for inquiries to make some deals, without actually doing anything more. I still don’t get it why Sedo was for couple years in row awarded by Broker of the Year Award at TRAFFIC.

    • Sure it is not a leader but most if not all of these sales were brokered by Sedo.
Sedo has active brokers doing work on a few premium domains.

      • Look, first place is mm.com, sold to domainer, so there was no active search I believe, otherwise we would see a different kind of buyer there. Second place is just $350k. Well, that is not that much when it comes to the entire year, right?

In your opinion, who is a leader when it comes to high value premium names?

      • Actually I think that most domains are sold in private transactions so we never learn about them unless someone notices a whois change.
Other than that there are a few broker houses doing some good work.

And yes, $350k is not much but the are only the public sales. From the weekly sales I am following I am sure that there are tens on 5 and 6 figure sales that are private at Sedo in 2014.

      • > “there are a few broker houses doing some good work”

Would you mind to name some that are your top personal choice?

      • I have not used any so it is only what I am hearing and I would rather not say.
You can found a few here.

  2. Nice to see 3 of top 10 are country code domains. Maybe we’ll see a few new gtlds in that list in one year?

  3. Credits.com seems cheap imo
