.Club Supports WordPress Sites at WordCamp Orlando

club-new-gtldThe .Club registry team traveled to Orlando last week to attend one of the biggest WordPress events in Florida, WordCamp Orlando.

“As you probably know, WordPress is an amazingly powerful software platform for creating a great website without necessarily having to be a master at coding. That said, there are countless designers and developers who are well-versed in WordPress and thousands of very flexible themes to help create just about any type of website on top of the WordPress platform. The goal of the event was to get the users more familiar with WordPress and the many tools it has to offer. The speakers were sharing the best plugins that helped them in making beautiful and responsive websites, as well as the many themes that are available.”

“We are very happy to support this community and attend this event because the majority of .CLUB users have launched their live websites with WordPress. .CLUB is an ideal domain name for all types of WordPress sites from blogs to businesses, as it is a global name that is short, memorable and meaningful. Bloggers in particular have shown a fondness for .CLUB names.  After all, if you are passionate enough to blog about a topic you are trying to build a community around it, and .CLUB is a great domain extension for any community, large or small.  In addition, WordPress offers many e-commerce options, and many subscription based and membership businesses, such as Coffee.club, can be built on the WordPress platform.”

“We had a good time meeting everyone at WordCamp Orlando and learning and spreading the word about .CLUB and the many great live sites .Club has with WordPress.”

  1. Wat up with da .club?………………I just can’t take any company serious that uses someone like 50 sense as a promoter….seriously?… Is that their best?…..I just went to the link you had put up and I had to duck, as I thought I was going to be shot by da 50 cents…….Thugs are not role models and thugs that promote violence should probably be something to stay away from, not promote……Does this make cents?……

  2. Missed the event this year. A great gathering for developers.
