MacRumous just made a post about Apple making a few early purchases:

– iphone.guru
– ipad.guru
– mac.guru

Other domains like Apple.BIKE, Apple.CLOTHING,  Apple.HOLDINGS, Apple.PLUMBING, Apple.SINGLES, Apple.VENTURES  are currently blocked from registration and display this message in whois:
“This is not a domain registration. It is a DPML block. Additional information can be found
at http://www.donuts.co/dpml.”
