Nokta leases 18 domains in May for $30-$250/month: OrangeOil.com, ShortTermInsurance.co.uk, Politics.net etc.

Nokta Domains announced that it leased 18 domains in May from $30 to $250 per month. OrangeOil.comwas leased by a termite control company in Los Angeles while Politics.net was leased by multipinions.com.

Except for these 2 domains the list mainly has Turkish terms in .com but a couple of .net and a .co.uk is included. ShortTermInsurance.co.uk was lease by a temporary car insurance company dayinsure.com in the UK.

The domain registrations dates range from 1997 up to 2008. Most were registered around 2004. Here is the list:

    The smart idea of Nokta is to ask a low monthly rental over parking revenue but small enough to be very appealing so any developer/marketer may create a site that quickly cover the leasing.

    • You are right Francois. I had a couple low offers for monthly rental that I didn’t take mainly because of the work related to closing the deals(contracts etc.) and collecting the money every month.
      Maybe I will start taking these low rental offers (on low end domains of course) from now on.
