MD.org sells for $555,650 at Namejet

MD.org sold for $555,650 at Namejet. The auction had 282 bids from 225 bidders. There were 2 bidders (with namejet nicknames winters and freedotcom) that took the price from $75,000, that was probably the reserve, and took it all the way up to $555k. The domain name has an 1997 registration date.

I found a recent domain auction that ended up being won by “winters”. The domain is at Fabulous and currently under privacy so this doesn’t tell us much about who the winning bidder for md.org is. Let’s just hope that this is going to be paid for and not end up like eDoctor.com.

Namejet’s highest sale in 2012 was nye.com for $175.500 and MD.org topped that easily and is headed to be the top Namejet auction sale of 2013.
